Franklin House was the creation of Jen Bury and Gavin O'Neal, two friends who met while walking their Rhodesian Ridgebacks in the foothills of Boise. The two shared in the challenge of updating old homes and when one of Boise's oldest "ice houses" became available, they jumped at the opportunity to restore the 1896 house on the corner of 15th street and Franklin.
Their vision for the house is to provide a casual setting to build community - whether with visitors to the area or old friends looking for a place to unwind. The house features six bedrooms, two with private hot-tubs and five bathrooms. The "Backyard" beer garden is available for guests or the community and features 14 hammock swings, a 75" television for sports or movie viewing, and two fire pits.
