Welcome!

Built in 1896, the beautiful Franklin House property was renovated in 2019 to accommodate travelers and neighbors looking for a unique and charming experience in Boise, Idaho. Please see below for answers to commonly asked questions and our cancellation policy. 

Franklin House is Boise’s First Bed & Beer

 

This historical home includes 5 unique rooms and sleeps 2 per room. Room amenities can be found in each of their descriptions while browsing availability and a complimentary beverage is included with your stay each night. 

 

We do not serve breakfast at this time, but fabulous restaurants & bakeries are within walking distance! Please note that during your stay at the Franklin House, common areas are shared with other guests.

 

ALL guests and visitors on the premises must be over 21. There will be no exceptions.

 

THE BACKYARD

 

Our seasonal beer garden is staffed & open to the public from March 15 - October 15, Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, weather permitting. 

 

We have an inviting selection of craft beer, wine, ready-to-drink cocktails, and non-alcohol options! Overnight guests are welcome to relax and unwind in the Beer Garden anytime during their stay. All guests and visitors on the premises must be over 21. Well-behaved, on-leash dogs are allowed in the Backyard during public hours. 

 

SELF CHECK-IN

 

The Franklin House has a self-check-in process and no formal front desk. You will receive a text message from one of our friendly Hospitality Managers on the day of your reservation to guide you through your self-check-in.

-Check-in time: 3:00 pm

-Check-out time: 11:00 am

 

HOUSEKEEPING

We ❤️ cleanliness and aim to provide all of our guests with a fresh & comfortable experience! Housekeeping is daily

11 am - 3 pm. Each room is cleaned & sanitized upon checkout. 

 

PET POLICY

 

At this time, pets of any size are not allowed for overnight accommodations due to shared common areas with other guests. Please get in touch with us before booking a room if you are traveling with a certified service animal.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

100% refund if 14 days from reservation date

50% refund if 7 days from reservation date

Cleaning fee refund if under 7 days from reservation date

At this time, we are unable to provide future credits or rescheduling under the cancellation time frame above.

No refunds or credits in the case of COVID-19 under the cancellation time frame above. For the safety of our staff and guests, we have the right to cancel your reservation and refuse entry. We are a small operation and the Franklin House has shared common areas with other guests. We appreciate your understanding!
